“Why would anyone want to serve God?” This is a question that I have heard many nonbelievers ask. It seems almost silly to them that you would want to do that.
Mostly the people who feel that way think that God is not worth serving, usually because he’s not all powerful or not all good, they think.

But scripture points gives us quite a different picture.
In fact, Christ loves us so much that he came to die on the cross to redeem us. Christ came not to be served, but to serve.
Because he first served us, we want to live lives of service back to him.
