Bible Studies

1 Samuel Bible Study

A look at some major characters in the book of 1 Samuel:

• Hannah’s Prayer (1 Samuel 1-2)
• King Saul (1 Samuel 15)
• David and Jonathan (1 Samuel 20)

John Bible Study

A look from the point of view of encountering Jesus.

We’ll see how Jesus encounters:

• Nicodemus (John 3)
• A Lame Man and A Blind Man (John 5)

Romans Bible Study

A survey of different sections of Paul’s letter to the Romans.

Topics include:

• being dead to sin (Romans 6)
• learning different salvation terms (Romans 8)
• discerning good and evil (Romans 12)

Revelation Bible Study

An actual run through of the entire book of Revelation.  

Some time is spent on:

• first few chapters (Overview of Book of Revelation and Revelation 1)
• letters to the 7 churches (Revelation 2-3)
• survey of part of the book of Revelation (Revelation 4-11), including the number 7 and the trumpets
• the New Heavens and Earth (Revelation 21-22)

Topical Bible Studies

Women in the Bible Bible Study

This study looks at different women in the Bible.

Women studied include:

• Mary, the Mother of Jesus
• the judge Deborah and God’s warrior Jael
• working women Lydia and Priscilla

Character Bible Study

This study focuses on what is biblical character.  

Topics include:

• biblical integrity and love
• biblical meekness and humility
• how to develop godly character

Devotions Bible Study

These studies are an assortment of shorter devotions on:

• Isaiah 43
• Ephesians 1

Identity Bible Study

This study focuses on what it means to have our identity in Christ.  

Topics include:

• ideal body image
• biblical relationships
